DIS has become a member of CLIMATE+
CLIMATE+ is a network of companies which are interested in reducing their impact on climate change. It is anchored in the Copenhagen Green Business Network, a part of the Environment Department in the City of Copenhagen.
DIS has the last 2-3 years worked on a climate change awareness in the daily operation of the company. We have launched various initiatives e.g. bought new energy-efficient servers, all windows have been fixed with sunscreens and ordinary tab water has been introduced instead of bottled water.
The Danish Chamber of Commerce has established a workshop with the objective -standardization of green offices. Merete Weiss, our Head of Accountant and Administration, is involved in this project as a workshop participant.
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in collaboration with The Danish Travel Association
DIS has co-sponsored in collaboration with The Danish Travel Association a weekend trip for “Børns Vilkår” in October 2009. Read more here
ASCONET
DIS has been a member of ASCONET, an association of PCO´s, since 2006. Their new website has just been introduced as the annual conference will take place later this month www.asconet.com
