The printed matter in connection with a conference varies. There are local organising committees who require a more environmental perspective with abstracts on a USB stick and a small printed programme, and other committees need to follow some standards set by the international organisation and therefore need to produce announcements leading up to the event, abstract and proceeding books and extensive programs.
