DIS Congress Service (DIS) is specialised in organising congresses, conferences and meetings. DIS Congress Service is a PCO (Professional Congress Organiser).
DIS processes personal information and has adopted this Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal information which we may receive or collect as part of our services or when you visit our website. We are only processing personal information which is relevant and necessary for our cooperation with you, or to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations.

What information do we collect about you
In order to register you as a participant for a congress organised by DIS, it is imperative that we collect, save and process your personal data (e.g. your name, address and e-mail address). This is conducted with the sole intent of organising and implementing the congress.
DIS uses external data processors to host our registration sites and we have entered into a Data Processor Agreement with them in accordance with the GDPR.
We also collect information when you voluntarily complete surveys and provide feedback. Website usage information is collected using cookies.

DIS has ongoing access to statistical data about the use of our website. It is not possible to identify individual persons based on this data. We use cookies to analyze the use of our website. Storing data
The data registered in registration, abstract and Sponsor/Exhibition systems are stored with one of our IT system suppliers in Denmark and the Netherlands (Parthen Group BV), who all comply with the GDPR regulations. Furthermore DIS is acting according to Danish law.
How will we use the information about you
We collect information about you to process your registration, manage your information and to e-mail you about subjects we think may be of interest to you regarding the congress.
Personal information regarding delegates may be information on name, flight information (flight no. arrival/departure time), period of stay, information on booked services, special requirements (i.e. dietary requirements and special health requirements) and other information relevant for the contracted services with our clients. As part of the contracted services with our clients, we may process this personal information on to relevant contracted suppliers (i.e. hotels, venues, restaurants, limo/coach services) by e-mail. In case support for Visa applications is needed, we will issue an invitation letter and send it to our clients or the relevant public authorities.
DIS will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside the organization.
